1. Purpose
This Shipping Policy defines the terms under which orders are packed, shipped, and delivered to customers. All sellers on kartngo.in must adhere strictly to this policy to ensure timely and professional delivery of fashion products.
2. Shipping Models
kartngo.in offers the following shipping models:
a. LokBuy-Managed Shipping
- Logistics is handled by LokBuy or its partnered courier services.
- Pickup is arranged from the seller’s registered location.
- Tracking is integrated and updated automatically on the platform.
b. Seller-Self Shipping
- Sellers may choose to handle their own shipping using approved courier partners.
- Tracking details must be uploaded within 24 hours of dispatch.
- LokBuy reserves the right to audit seller shipping practices to ensure timely delivery.
3. Shipping Timelines
- All orders must be shipped within 24 to 48 hours of order confirmation.
- Sellers must update the shipment status and tracking number in the seller panel promptly.
- Delays in dispatch may lead to order cancellation, penalties, or temporary suspension of the seller account.
4. Packaging Guidelines
- Sellers are responsible for secure, clean, and tamper-proof packaging of all products.
- The outer packaging must protect the items during transit and be suitable for fashion goods.
- Branding elements must follow LokBuy’s packaging policies (shared during onboarding).
5. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges depend on the logistics model used:
- LokBuy Shipping: Charges are predefined and deducted per order during settlement.
- Self Shipping: Sellers bear the cost and may not charge customers outside the agreed framework.
- Sellers must not levy any additional delivery fees on customers beyond what is shown on the checkout page.
6. Delivery Timeline
- Standard delivery timelines range from 3 to 7 business days, depending on the buyer’s location.
- Sellers must ensure timely delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce returns.
7. Non-Deliveries and RTO (Return to Origin)
- Orders returned due to customer unavailability or incorrect address will be marked as RTO.
- In LokBuy-Managed Shipping, RTO items are returned to the seller’s pickup address.
- Sellers may bear charges for both forward and reverse logistics in such cases.
8. Lost or Damaged Shipments
- For LokBuy-Managed Shipping, any lost or damaged parcel must be reported within 5 days of shipment status update.
- For Seller-Self Shipping, the seller is responsible for resolving logistics issues directly with the courier.
- Reimbursement (if applicable) will be handled based on investigation and as per LokBuy’s claim policy.
9. Returns and Reverse Pickup
- If a return is initiated by the customer, the reverse pickup will be handled according to the original shipping model.
- Returned items must be inspected for damage or usage before issuing refunds.
- Sellers must cooperate with LokBuy to ensure smooth returns and credit processing.
10. Compliance and Penalties
Failure to follow this shipping policy may result in:
- Delayed settlements
- Penalties as per seller scorecard
- Temporary or permanent suspension from the platform
11. Policy Updates
COMMERCELLA TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD reserves the right to update this policy at any time. All changes will be communicated in advance through the seller dashboard or registered email.
